Our last lot of classes start tomorrow, Saturday 12/2/2011.  What a busy and very exciting week it has been.

I would be off to bounce on the trampoline right now but I hurt my back kite surfing last Sunday.  So make sure you don't hurt yourself this weekend so you can learn some fantastic tricks in class next week!

Starting term 1

Just a quick reminder that NICA Short Courses Term 1 starts on Monday.

That is, Monday the 7th of February.

For those people with a class on Saturday, your first class will be Sat 12/2.

I have been very busy finalising all the courses and I am very exciting to meet all the new enrolments.  As well, see our regulars and show off my staple-less stapler.

Wow.  What a response for Term 1.  I have a pile of emails to get through, so if you have sent an email in the last few days, hang in there.  I will reply, I promise.

Australian Sports Commission

Just had a visit from Caron Williams from the Australian Sports Commission.  Very cool.  We have some new plans cooking up.

How would you like to do circus every day after school?

I also meant to show her my new staple-less stapler.  But I forgot.

Hello and Welcome back

I trust you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break.

I went up to Coffs Harbour and went surfing every day!  It was fantastic.

So back to it.  I have been asked many questions, and in particular, are there places still available in such and such class.  The answer is yes.  We still have plenty of places available.

If a course is full, it will be noted against the checkbox in the enrolment page.

A big thanks goes out to Vanessa-Mae and her Mum, Karen for my excellent Christmas present.  A container of bulldog clips with "NOW!", "Later", "This Week" and "Tomorrow" on them written in large letters.

Another big thanks goes to Erika.
I rock up to work on the 4th and look in my pigeon hole and there is an unusual package.  I opened it and it was a staple-less stapler!  Not quite as elegant as her French version, but still awesome!

Now I don't have a single sheet of paper in the office.  Everything has been staplessly stapled together.  Hmm.

Lastly, there are a tonne of messages that I am slowly ploughing through.

And don't forget our holiday programs start in just over a week, ok!  They'll be good.  You can work off that Christmas chocolate.

Winding Down

NICA is winding down and we are all finishing up for the Summer break.

Just a quick thank you for making 2010 absolutely fantastic.  We have some very exciting plans here for 2011 and I look forward to sharing these with you early next year.

New Classes

Just a quick list of all the new classes offered in 2011.
NICAtots (3-4years) Wednesday 9:30-10:30am -- added to the existing Tuesday class.

NICAmites (5-7years) Saturday 9:00-11:00am -- is now 2 hours.  Wednesday's class is still 1 1/2 hours.

-- this list was huge.  And for some reason it has all been deleted.  Ok, give me a moment to type it all back up again.

2011 Enrolments Now Live!!

Hooray!  I am pretty excited about all the new courses that we are offering.  Also, until we are fully electronic, the enrolment process needs you to enrol online and then download the payment and indemnity forms and fax them through.  Alternatively, you can make a payment over the phone by calling Megan at reception between 9-4pm.  9214 6975.  Megan is awesome and will look after you.
