Winding Down

NICA is winding down and we are all finishing up for the Summer break.

Just a quick thank you for making 2010 absolutely fantastic.  We have some very exciting plans here for 2011 and I look forward to sharing these with you early next year.

New Classes

Just a quick list of all the new classes offered in 2011.
NICAtots (3-4years) Wednesday 9:30-10:30am -- added to the existing Tuesday class.

NICAmites (5-7years) Saturday 9:00-11:00am -- is now 2 hours.  Wednesday's class is still 1 1/2 hours.

-- this list was huge.  And for some reason it has all been deleted.  Ok, give me a moment to type it all back up again.

2011 Enrolments Now Live!!

Hooray!  I am pretty excited about all the new courses that we are offering.  Also, until we are fully electronic, the enrolment process needs you to enrol online and then download the payment and indemnity forms and fax them through.  Alternatively, you can make a payment over the phone by calling Megan at reception between 9-4pm.  9214 6975.  Megan is awesome and will look after you.

Juggle Lab Cycling Tour

Our friends over at Juggle Lab have just emailed me this.  Very cool.

Come and join us for the first ever Juggle Lab Cycling Tour on Saturday the
27th of November!

Meet-up at 11 am at Altona station (train arrives at 10:58). We will cyle
from Altona along the bay to Williamstown Beach. There we'll have a picnic
and do heaps of juggling. So, bring some food to share and your juggling
gear. If all the cycling and juggling left you completely exhausted you can
catch a train back to Melbourne. The seasoned cyclists can continue on their
bikes along the bay and take a punt across the Yarra to get back.

NICA Short Course End Of Year Show -- Call for volunteers

We are after help with make-up (or face paint for the pirates) as well as 2 follow spot light operators.

Make up is needed from 12 noon Sat 20/11.
Follow spots are needed 9-1 Sat 13/11 and Sat 20/11.

That'd be grand!

Welcome to Term 4

This term we farewell two awesome trainers, Sean Kempton and Michaela O'Connor, and wish them the best for their 18 month contract in Japan with Cirque du Soleil.  They shall be greatly missed.

Michaela was teaching many of the aerial classes, and Sean took Circus Star to a wild new level.
